"Emmerdale" was not voted the most popular serial drama at
the National TV Awards presentation October 31 at London's Royal Albert
Hall, the cream of British television's crop gathered together for an
after-party at the Royal College of Art discovered that
Nick Miles, a cast member on the long-running series, has just garnered
life's most coveted prize-- the promise of a life together with the
woman he loves. The star of the ITV soap opera announced that his long-time
girlfriend Stephanie Lumb has agreed to become his bride. The lovebirds
have yet to schedule a date for their walk down the aisle.
