October 2006 -- Chinese
movie stars Nicholas Tse and Cecilia Cheung, who shared the silver screen
in the 2005 fantasy flick "The Promise," have announced to
the media that they pledged their love to one another in a wedding ceremony
on September 18, 2006. The publicity-shy couple chose Palawan island
in the Philippines as the locale for their exchange of vows, which took
place at sunset in the presence of 10 witnesses.
