St. Thomas's Frenchman's Reef and Morning Star Marriott Beach Resort Offering Live Wedding Webcast

Do you have friends and family you want to witness your destination wedding--but know they can't make the trip? Wedding webcasts are the solution: your guests watch the ceremony over the internet, the next best thing to being there.

Frenchman's Reef & Morning Star Marriott Beach Resort in St. Thomas has forged a partnership with Webs 4 Weddings, where every bride and groom can now have their wedding webcast live for all guests who cannot make the trip. Frenchman’s Reef is the only resort offering this option in the Caribbean.

This feature is an addition to Frenchman’s Reef’s highly successful Weddings in Paradise Program, which is run by a team of certified Marriott Certified Wedding Planners, and will be included in all of the wedding packages.

“As a resort that is known for our outstanding wedding program and as one of the top choices for a destination wedding, we are extremely excited to partner with Webs 4 Weddings to enhance our guests’ wedding experience,” said Lisa Hamilton, director of sales and marketing for Frenchman’s Reef & Morning Star Marriott Beach Resort. “We are always looking to expand our services so that our brides and grooms can truly have that dream wedding, and now with our added webcast feature wedding couples can share this special day with both guests that are onsite and with those that couldn’t make the trip.”

Wedding Packages: Webs 4 Weddings is included in all of Frenchman’s Reef’s wedding package options, which include the Tropical Wedding ($850), Deluxe Wedding ($1950), Luxury Wedding ($2350) and the Royal Wedding ($2650).

How it Works: Once the couples sign up for a wedding package and confirm the date for the wedding ceremony, they will receive an email notifying them of their Webs 4 Weddings username, which they will use to set up their own personalized wedding website with a unique domain name of their choice.

Wedding guests need to register on the bride and groom’s wedding site to set up their own “log in” information, which can then be used to view the live wedding webcast, as well as accessing photographs that are uploaded three to four days after the wedding.

The live webcast starts 15 minutes before the wedding start time and can be replayed up to 30 days after the wedding, with seven viewings.
