Prince
Louis of Luxembourg's Royal Wedding
September 2006-- Well-wishers
who had gathered outside of the parish church of Gilsdorf on September
29, 2006 were rewarded with a view of Prince Louis of Luxembourg
and Tessy Antony as they emerged from the chapel as husband and wife.
The bride, who had donned
a demure, knee-length ivory dress with matching colored shoes enhanced
with delicate bows for the civil ceremony held hours before, chose a
strapless, ivory gown with an embroidered bodice for the religious blessing,
which she paired with a chapel-length veil, opera gloves (which were
not worn during the ceremony) and a cascade bouquet.
The house of worship, where
the couple's infant son Gabriel had been christened months before, provided
a dramatic backdrop for wedding photos as the newlyweds posed for posterity
while the Grand Duchess Maria Teresa looked on, lovingly cradling her
young grandson in her arms.
