Celebrity Dining: Who's Dining Where

Malibu's gastronomic Greek retreat, Taverna Tony restaurant, welcomed betrothed beauty Nicollette Sheridan and her fiancé Michael Bolton, who were enjoying a leisurely late summer day with their faithful canine companion.

From Elvis Presley to Elton John, rock 'n' rollers have long been a familiar sight at the legendary Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Canadian chanteuse Avril Lavigne and her husband, Sum 41's Deryck Whibley, recently returned from their honeymoon stay at the Capri Palace Hotel and Spa in Anacapri, are the latest singing sensations to walk through the hotel's lobby (which was prominently featured in the romantic comedy "Pretty Woman") on their way to sample the Epicurean offerings at Cut, a Wolfgang Puck restaurant that opened its doors to the public in June 2006.

Like the blonde bombshell sings on her latest single, there "Ain't No Other Man" for Christina Aguilera but her husband of the last nine months, Jordan Bratman. The newlyweds enjoyed a romantic repast at Pastis, a restaurant that brings a touch of Provence to New York's Meatpacking district. Penelope Cruz also pleased her palate at the French-styled brasserie recently, ordering a plate of oysters on the half shell.

Before heading out to Nashville for their third wedding ceremony, blonde beauty Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock took the time to enjoy the casual atmosphere of Coogie's Beach Cafe in Malibu.

Natalie Portman took a bite out of The Big Apple in August. The vegan vision was spotted sampling gourmet Greek dishes at posh Park Avenue restaurant Barbounia, the multi-cultural cuisine served during a party for violinist Joshua Bell at SushiSamba Park, Sascha Lyon-created culinary masterpieces at Sascha Restaurant and Bakery in the Meatpacking district, and Irish-inspired pub grub during an al fresco outing at Dublin 6 Wine and Dine in West Village.

While filming the upcoming romance "My Blueberry Nights" in Memphis, new mother Rachel Weisz and her fiance Darren Aronofsky sampled the Southern fare served at Blues City Cafe, the City of Good Abode's self-proclaimed number one business which has catered to such notables as Tom Cruise, Nicole Richie and Elizabeth Hurley.

Mirroring the ambiance of a Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers movie set, the Art Deco details of Gotham Steakhouse & Cocktail Bar provided a dramatic backdrop for cinematic sizzler Jessica Alba as the star dined at the Vancouver restaurant during a break from filming "Good Luck Chuck."

Kirsten Dunst may play the queen of France in Sophia Coppola's upcoming epic "Marie Antoinette," but the "Spider-Man" stunner's down-home taste was evident when she dined on the budget-friendly, south of the border fare served at Howdy's Taqueria Malibu.

Jessica Simpson, who celebrated the release of her new CD at the end of August, ordered a nautical nosh of sea bass and shrimp cocktails when she visited The Lodge Steakhouse in Beverly Hills at the beginning of the month.

Heather Mills tasted the Thai-inspired treats created at Vegan Glory, an L.A. vegetarian nirvana which offers such animal-friendly fare as a soy pepper steak sandwich and the cowboy burger, which is prepared with homemade wheat "meat".

Taboo and apl.de.ap of The Black Eyed Peas recently enjoyed the Art Deco-influenced ambiance of Beantown's District Restaurant and Lounge, which opened its doors to the public in the summer of 2006.

A tradition greeting each patron as they are seated at Kitchen 1924, a brimming teacup of chicken broth was presented to actress Danica McKellar (who tugged on America's heartstrings as little Winnie Cooper on "The Wonder Years") while she checked out the Dallas eatery's menu during a break from filming her upcoming Lifetime feature "Inspector Mom."
