Sally
Meen's Surrey Wedding
August 2006--Newlyweds Ant
McPartlin and his wife Lisa Armstrong, Declan Donnelly and Anthea
Turner were among the family and friends who gathered together on September
4, 2006 to witness the union of British television presenter Sally Meen
and show business agent Russ Lindsay.
Engaged since Christmas
Day 2005, the couple's love culminated in a civil ceremony held at Great
Fosters Hotel, a 16th century edifice situated on 50 verdant acres in
Surrey, England. Conducted in the hotel's orangery, gracefully arched
windows filtered in sunlight as the groom, wearing a beige suit, and
his bride, who donned an ivory gown enhanced with a jewel-encrusted
bodice for the occasion, pledged their devotion to each other.
Following the nuptials,
the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed post-wedding festivities inside
the venue's tithe barn, a medieval era structure built with exposed
oak beams and a minstrels' gallery.
