X
Factor's Steve Brookstein, Eileen Hunter's Scotland Wedding
August 2006--When 2004's
X Factor winner Steve Brookstein proposed to jazz musician Eileen Hunter,
he poured his emotions into a song he titled "Take My Hand."
On August 26, 2006 the words of his composition became a reality as
the singer watched his love walk down the aisle of King's College Chapel,
a 16th century house of worship in Aberdeen, Scotland, the bride's home
town.
Clutching a bouquet comprised
of vivid orange, red and purple flowers interspersed with greenery,
the bride walked past family and friends in a white, strapless gown
designed with a multi-layered skirt which gently swayed as she made
her way to the altar, where the groom, dressed in a
kilt, waited for her. Bridesmaids in deep burgundy dresses fashioned
with delicate capped sleeves looked on as the couple culminated their
three-year love affair with a pledge of eternal devotion.
Following the wedding, the
newlyweds reportedly embarked on a two-week honeymoon.
