Pamela
Anderson, Kid Rock's Nashville Wedding
August 2006--The smiling
faces of country music legends beaming from the yellowed, framed photos
on the Wall of Fame silently looked on as Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock
took to the stage on August 17, 2006 to pledge their love in front of
the ecstatic patrons at Tootsie's Orchid Lounge in Nashville, Tennessee.
After their early morning
wedding the bride, wearing a white dress by Juicy, enjoyed a
musical performance by her new husband which included renditions of
"Sweet Home Alabama," "Family Tradition" and "Some
Kind of Wonderful."Known to movie buffs from its appearances in
"Coal Miner's Daughter" and "W.W. & The Dixie Dance
Kings," Tootsie's Orchid Lounge is a Nashville landmark that has
served as a favorite watering hole for a number of country giants over
the years, including Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and the late,
great Patsy Cline. Today, visitors to the nightclub can also learn about
Music City, USA's past and present with a guided bus tour offered by
Tootsie's first bartender, Miss Wanda.
