British Television Hosts Weds Then Honeymoons in Egypt

The Proposal: During a romantic excursion to Egypt, the prospective groom asked for Kate's hand in marriage as the couple lounged in a hot tub in a luxury suite with a commanding view of the Nile. Upon her return to work, the co-host of breakfast show GMTV (who is rumored to have been the muse for the title character of "Bridget Jones' Diary") announced her happy news to an audience of 10 million television viewers.

The Ceremony: The bride-to-be allowed herself just six weeks to plan her wedding, which was shrouded in secrecy from the daily press due to an agreement to present their story to a top British magazine. However, spectators outside could hear the moving melody of Aerosmith's "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" as the tune, performed for the event on a piano, echoed within the confines of the Primrose Hill church.
