Edele Lynch Enjoys Wedding in Ireland
August 2006-- The words "God must have spent a little more time
on you" embellished the leaflet announcing the August 9, 2006 wedding
of former B*Witched member Edele Lynch. The look of love on Michael
Barrett's face echoed the sentiment as he watched his bride walk down
the aisle of St. Flannans Church in Kinnity, Co Offaly, Ireland.
Wearing a white, strapless
gown, the singer's beauty was accented by a simple wreath of ivy which
rested like a crown upon her dark tresses, while the groom chose a dark
pin-striped suit for the occasion.
Following the 2pm ceremony,
the bride's brother, Shane Lynch, a former member of the pop group Boyzone,
and her twin sister, Keavy, who wore a floor-length, chocolate satin
dress in her role as a bridesmaid, joined the newlyweds and fellow guests
at a reception held at Kinnitty Castle. The 37-suite, 4-star hotel lords
over 20,000 verdant acres.
