Lavigne's Honeymoon at Capri Palace Hotel & Spa
August 2006-- A virtual Eden awaited newlyweds Avril Lavigne and Deryck
Whibley upon their arrival at the Capri Palace Hotel & Spa in Anacapri
during their honeymoon tour of the island of Capri. Wanting a private
haven in the 80-room and suite retreat, the lovebirds nested in the
Megaron Suite, a 1,620-square-foot roof top penthouse complete with
a hanging garden, heated
swimming pool, and a bird's eye view of the Gulf of Naples.
While their sanctuary offered
a dining room and mini-kitchen, the couple also enjoyed the culinary
creations served at the hotel's Restaurant L'Olivo, which has earned
a coveted Michelin Star.
Guests can also soak up
the sun as they dine by the pool at Mosaico, or savor the mellow Mediterranean
atmosphere of Bar Degli Artisti, where modern art and smooth jazz sets
the stage for an unforgettable Epicurean experience.
