The
Da Vinci Code Star's French Wedding
July 2006 --One
day shy of his 58th birthday, renowned actor Jean Reno welcomed
the dawn of a new life together with model Zofia Borucka. Sixty
friends and family members, among them iconic French singer
Johnny Hallyday and director Ron Howard, who captured the groom's
performance as Bezu Fache in the The Da Vinci Code, gathered
on July 29, 2006 at the city hall in Baux-de-Provence to witness
the bride, who wore a buff-colored, floor-length gown, pledge
her love to the French thespian.
Following a religious
blessing of their union, 300 guests convened for a celebratory
feast in the restaurant at L'Oustau de Baumaniere, a former
16th century farmhouse converted into a luxury hotel. Johnny
Depp and his paramour Vanessa Paradis, Elton John and Brad Pitt
were reportedly among those to drink a toast to the couple's
happiness.
