Actress Jeri Ryan Engaged

July 2006 -- French chef Christopher Eme employed the language of love to win the hand of actress Jeri Ryan (Star Trek: Voyager"), painting the words "And you come with me forever," written in his native tongue, on a canvas set up in the couple's bedroom. Following the candlelight proposal, the former sci-fi siren and the culinary artist of Ortolan restaurant drank a champagne toast to their happiness.

While the details of their impending nuptials have not been finalized, the couple hope to state their vows in the Loire Valley in June 2007.
