Brigitte Nielsen Celebrates Malta Wedding

July 2006 -- On July 8, 2006, actress Brigitte Nielsen, star of "The Surreal Life," turned her dream of marrying model Mattia Dessi into reality. The couple, who had previously pledged their love on February 21, 2005 at the Viva Domenicus Palace in the Domenican Republic in a ceremony considered an "official engagement," were finally united in matrimony at the Radisson SAS Golden Sands Resort and Spa, a 337-room retreat towering over Sandy Beach, Golden Bay in Malta.

The bride, who donned a halo of pink roses for her first walk down the aisle with the man she loves, reportedly wore an Angela Missoni creation for the occasion.
