guest Howie Mandel, comedian and host of NBC's "Deal
or No Deal." Mandel threw out the inaugural dice and
was the first entertainer to perform inside the new MontBleu,
formerly known as Caesars Tahoe. With its "metro cool"

& Spa's 40,000-square-foot gaming area. Lake Tahoe's latest
chic retreat offers 440 rooms, seven restaurants, a yacht standing
by for up to 50 guests and views of the majestic Sierra Nevada
mountains.

Eternal screen goddess Marilyn Monroe lives on in the images of

of The Hotel Bel-Air weeks before her untimely death in 1962.
Sixty portraits of the late '50's icon will be on display at the
Musee Maillol in Paris from June 29 - October 30, 2006.
Scarlett Johansson in Long Island
Production will soon wrap on the upcoming theatrical version of
the best-selling novel, "The Nanny Diaries". When not
on the set, big screen beauty Scarlett Johansson relaxed at the
Southampton Inn, a peaceful, 90-room Long Island paradise located
one mile from Coopers Beach.
Star Trek's Nichelle Nichols Heads to
Nevada
Like her alter ego Lt. Uhura from the cult classic "Star
Trek," Nichelle Nichols ventured forth in order to "seek
out new life and new civilizations" in Pahrump, Nevada as
work began on her latest feature, the upcoming action comedy "Lady
Magdalene's." A scene for the movie was shot at Pahrump Nugget
Casino, a 70-room desert oasis featuring over 500 slot machines,
a bowling alley and live bingo.
Prince Edward at Hotel Saskatchewan
Hotel Saskatchewan, a Four Diamond retreat towering over Victoria
Park, welcomed Britain's Prince Edward during one stop on his
Canadian sojourn. During his stay the Earl of Wessex, who once
worked for Andrew Lloyd Webber's Really Useful Company, toured
Regina's Globe Theatre, where plays are performed in the round
inside a building christened after the seventh in line to the
throne.

Wedding bells recently chimed for "Desperate Housewives"

but the organized actress found the time to take a break from
her wedding preparations recently to check out the compelling
and controversial "Bodies" exhibition at The South Street
Seaport in New York City. The fetching, flame-haired star was
not the first to tour the talked-about display-- actress Natalie
Portman viewed the anatomical artistry earlier this year.

Looking as though she just stepped out of a Renoir painting, Natalie
Portman enjoyed the impressionistic beauty of the Jardin du Luxembourg
in Paris on a recent sunny afternoon. A 24-hectare heaven located
in the 6th arrondissement, the park is home to both a statue of
the city's patron, Saint Genevieve, and a scaled down version
of the Statue of Liberty.
