Morissette Calls Off Engagement
June 2006 -- A love
story which began in 2002 and led to an engagement announcement
two years later has reached a sad conclusion as Canadian chanteuse
Alanis Morissette and actor Ryan Reynolds have decided to part,
according to People magazine's online web site.
Although a wedding
date was never set, in 2004 the star of the romantic comedy
"Just Friends" knelt on bended knee to present the
"Jagged Little Pill" songsmith with an engagement
ring adorned with a 3.75-carat, emerald cut diamond encircled
by pink pavé stones which rested upon a diamond-encrusted
platinum band.
