Jacques Villeneuve's Swiss Wedding
May 2006-- Race
car driver Jacques Villeneuve sped to the Chateau d'Aigle, a
12th century fortress in Switzerland, on May 29, 2006 to wed
his lady love, Johanna Martinez. Approximately 30 friends and
family members looked on as the 1997 Formula One champion, dressed
in a navy blue suit, exchanged vows with his bride in a civil
ceremony.
The newlyweds later
celebrated their new marital status with guests at a dinner
in the resort town of Villars, where talk turned to the couple's
impending religious ceremony, which is scheduled for the following
week.
