Marie Whitney, Theo Epstein Engaged

May 2006-- The unmistakable glint of diamonds sparkled on the ring finger of Marie Whitney was spotted in the stands during a game at Fenway Park, courtesy of her beau, Theo Epstein, the general manager of the Boston Red Sox. The prospective groom asked for Ms. Whitney's hand in marriage on May 21, 2006 during a romantic repast at Davio's, an Italian steakhouse in Boston's Back Bay.

A wedding date has yet to be announced.
