Julia Haworth's Wedding in Britain

May 6, 2006 -- Julia Haworth, better known to "Coronation Street" fans as Claire Peacock, now wears a wedding band alongside the diamond solitaire engagement ring which was presented to the actress by her love Jon Wormald atop the Arc de Triomphe in Paris in January 2004.

Returning to Burnley, Lancashire, the town where the bride spent her childhood, the star of the long-running ITV drama said "I do" on May 6, 2006 in the presence of fellow castmembers Jane Danson, Samia Smith, Tina O'Brien and Steven Arnold, who gathered at St. Stephen's CE Church for the ceremony.

Following the nuptials, the newlyweds enjoyed a reception at Towneley Hall, a 15th century edifice which has been transformed into an art gallery and museum.
