April 2006 -- On
April 10, 2006 an announcement was made that a decade of love
between
U2 bassist Adam Clayton and Susie Smith has led to a proposal.
The member of the
Grammy Award-winning band, who acted as best man at lead singer
Bono's wedding in 1982, will exchange vows with the lady in
his life some time in 2007.
