Miss Puerto Rico Enjoys Wedding in Guaynabo
April 2006 -- As
raindrops fell on the afternoon of April 1, 2006 upon la Iglesia
de la Misericordia in the city of Guaynabo, architect Hansell
Bajuelo showered Miss Puerto Rico 2003 Joyceline Montero with
kisses on her forehead and cheeks as the couple, who became
engaged in November 2005, were declared husband and wife.
Three hundred guests,
including Miss Puetro Rico 2005 Cynthia Olavarria and Miss Puerto
Rico Teen 2000 Katiria Soto, watched as the former beauty queen
exchanged vows in a pristine white silk gown with a plunging
sweetheart neckline by designer Iris Leon, its beauty enhanced
by the dainty diamond and mother of pearl encrusted tiara that
rested lightly upon the bride's brunette tresses.
Following the nuptials,
the newlyweds left the candlelit chapel for a reception at the
Embassy Suites hotel in Isla Verde, where family and friends
watched as the bride's father led his little girl out on to
the dance floor to perform their father/daughter dance to the
apt tune "Niña
Bonita."
