Actress Divya Palat Enjoys Wedding in India

March 2006 -- A friendship which began in 1995 and blossomed into romance five years later culminated in a wedding for actress Divya Palat and former MTV India VJ Aditya Hitkari. Festivities began on the 13th of the month with a sangeet held at Blue Sea in Worli, followed in the succeeding days by bachelor and bachelorette parties and a mendhi before 1,500 guests gathered on March 16, 2006 at a temple in Matunga for a ceremony which honored the Punjabi, Gujarati and Malyali traditions of their combined families.

On their first day of wedded bliss the newlyweds enjoyed a reception held at the Taj, which was followed by a 10-day honeymoon.
