Bill
Nye, The Science Guy, Celebrates Wedding
February 2006 --
The worlds of science and art formed a perfect union on February
3, 2006 as Bill Nye, known to PBS viewers as "Bill Nye,
The Science Guy," wed author/oboist Blair Tindall, whose
musical artistry can be heard on such movie soundtracks as "Malcolm
X" and "Snake Eyes".
The music of cellist
Yo-Yo Ma, combined with a piano played by MIT lab professor
Michael
Hawley, echoed in the auditorium of the Skirball Cultural Center
in Los Angeles as the bride walked down the aisle. The Reverend
Rick Warren, who penned the best-seller, The Purpose-Driven
Life, conducted the ceremony.
