Creed
Singer Scott Stapp Celebrates Wedding in Miami
February 2006 --
No designer captured the essence of rock and roll quite like
Gianni Versace, and it seemed fitting that rocker Scott Stapp,
former lead singer for the Grammy Award winning group Creed,
and his lady love Jaclyn Nesheiwat chose the late fashion icon's
former residence as the venue for their rehearsal dinner the
night before their wedding. Known today as Casa Casuarina, the
Spanish-style palatial mansion has become an elite, members-only
club in Miami Beach which offers European elegance to its patrons.
The following night,
February 10, 2006, guests were greeted by the illuminated Italianate
architecture of Miami's Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, where they
witnessed the bride, garbed in a gown by wedding designer to
the stars Vera Wang, walk down a carpet of strewn rose petals
toward her intended, who waited at the altar next to his seven
year old son, on hand to support his father as best man.
After the ceremony,
the newlyweds embarked on a Hawaiian honeymoon.
