Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora Wedding

Although officially pronounced husband and wife in a civil ceremony conducted at the groom's New Jersey residence, rocker Richie Sambora and TV's most beguiling bad girl Heather Locklear also chose to join their lives together in an Episcopalian ceremony on December 17, 1994 inside The American Cathedral, a neo-Gothic structure embellished with the tallest spire in Paris.

Jon Bon Jovi was among the 25 guests who rose from their seats in respect as the bride, clutching a bouquet of pink flowers, walked down the aisle in a traditional white wedding dress by Nolan Miller, who captured the star's unique qualities of innocence and sensuality by combining a body-conscious lace halter top and satin floor-length skirt with a demure lace jacket.

The groom, wearing a somber black dress coat, waited for her at the altar, where the couple pledged their love in front of a triptych depicting the nativity, the crucifixion and the resurrection of Jesus.

Following the nuptials, guests at the Ritz Hotel raised their champagne-filled glasses in a toast to the bride and groom's happiness before the newlyweds embarked on a Hawaiian honeymoon.
