"The
Biggest Loser" Stars Celebrate Wedding in Hawaii
January 2006 --
Rasha Spindel and Edwin Chapman may not have been victorious
in the NBC series "The Biggest Loser," but the couple
are winners in the game of love, and on January 28, 2006 the
reality TV personalities said "I do" at the Wai'oli
Tea Room in Manoa Valley, Honolulu.
The bride, who donned
a traditional white wedding gown embellished with an antebellum
waist to
accentuate her new svelte physique, cut slices of a triple-tier
wedding cake before the newlyweds embarked on a honeymoon on
the big island of Hawaii.
Situated on eight
verdant acres, the tea room was constructed in the flapper era,
while the adjacent chapel, built with stained glass windows
and lava walls which honor the land, was built in 1939. A charming
grass hut once used by Robert Louis Stevenson, author of "Treasure
Island," is also located on the estate.
