Barbara Celebrates Civil Wedding in Mexico City
January 2006 --
Although plans for a lavish wedding scheduled for February had
been in the works for months, the prospect of joining their
lives together proved so enticing to grupera singer Ana Barbara
and Jose Maria Fernandez that the couple decided to exchange
vows in a surprise civil ceremony on January 27, 2006 at the
Mexico City home of telenovela actress Jacqueline Andere.

Marco Antonio Solis "El Buki" and actress Chantal
Andere were among the guests gathered together to witness the
bride, wearing a creation by Alejandro Mata, say "I do"
to the man she loves.
Following their
first night of wedded bliss at the Andere residence, the newlyweds
embarked on a short honeymoon at a Mexican beach. It is believed
that a religious
ceremony to consecrate their love will take place in the
days to come.
