Stars Celebrate at Taj Land's End Hotel

Newlywed Zayed Khan was one of a cavalcade of Bollywood stars
to receive a wedding invitation decorated with caricatures of
movie actors Aashish Chowdhry and Samita Bangargi, who celebrated
their love of the past eight years with a shaadi held on the
evening of January 27, 2006 at the five-star Taj Land's End
Hotel in Bandra, Mumbai, India.
The dashing leading
man donned a black sherwani for the occasion, while a black
and blue nawari, the traditional bridal ensemble for Maharashtrian
women, draped Samita's figure.
A celebration of
their love began on January 25 with a sangeet held at top Bandra
nightclub Poison, while post wedding festivities were enjoyed
the day following the nuptials at Salt Water Grill, where the
groom and bride, wearing a dress created by Rocky S and Vikram
Phadnis, cut slices of a three-tier wedding cake for their guests,
who had been requested to wear all white attire to the occasion.
