Hawk Celebrates Wedding in Fiji
January 2006 --
The heart-shaped Fijian island of Tavarua provided a geographic
symbol of the love shared between skateboarding legend Tony
Hawk and Lhotse Merriam, the proprietress of a lingerie boutique,
as the couple pledged their devotion on January 12, 2006.
Eighty guests, including
MTV star Bam Margera, bore witness as the "Birdman,"
wearing a white, untucked shirt paired with black trousers,
and his bride, who donned an ivory creation from designer to
the stars Vera Wang, exchanged vows.
