Eminem
Celebrates Second Wedding in American Castle
January 2006 --
Some loves cannot be denied, and on January 14, 2006 Marshall
Mathers III, better known as Eminem, once again took his high
school sweetheart Kim to be his bride. The groom cruised to
Meadow Brook Hall (venue featured in The
Castle Wedding Workbook) on the grounds of Oakland University
in a black stretch limo, while the bride stepped out of a white
limousine in a traditional white wedding dress and walked through
the building's lily-adorned iron gates.
As a piano rendition
of his hit song "Mockingbird" echoed in the venue
Eminem, wearing a somber suit, made his way past eighty-five
guests, including rappers 50 Cent and Obie Trice, to wait for
his bride at the altar. His best man Proof by his side and his
daughter Hailey standing by as a bridesmaid, the Grammy Award
winner declared his devotion to his long time love during a
sunset ceremony.
Lobster tail and
filet mignon was served following the nuptials, and music played
by New York DJ Lord Sear rang through the flapper era "American
castle" into the night.
