Stephen
Gately Announces Civil Partnership Plans
January 2006 --
Although married in their hearts since their 2003 commitment
ceremony at the Viva Las Vegas wedding chapel in Las Vegas,
Nevada, Stephen Gately, a former member of Boyzone, one of the
UK's top-selling boy bands of the late 90's, and his love Andy
Cowles have decided to make their union official with a civil
partnership ceremony.
The couple was so
moved by the wedding of David Furnish and Elton John, who played
matchmaker for Stephen and Andy, that plans are now in the works
for a 2006 ceremony to be held in Dublin, Ireland.
