for Christmas from her beau of the past two years, singer Lira
Paes (also known as Lirinha) of the group Cordel do Fogo.
Surrounded by family
members at the dinner table as they gathered for Christmas lunch,
the bride-to-be was presented with the token of love as her
suitor recited a heartfelt poem.
The couple plan
to become husband and wife in a civil ceremony to be held in
May 2006.
