-- True to the title of his latest CD, "Modern Day Drifter,"
country crooner Dierks Bentley was a free spirit when it came
time to tie the knot with his former high school sweetheart,
Cassidy.
Foregoing a traditional
wedding surrounded by family and friends, the 2005 CMA Horizon
Award winner and his love eloped to Mexico in mid-December 2005,
exchanging vows at a secret location.
The newlyweds shared
the happy news with the singer's family upon their return to
Nashville.
