John Honeymoons in Venice
December 22, 2005--
One day after expressing their love with a pair of identical
Chopard wedding bands in a civil partnership ceremony held at
Windsor's Guildhall, Elton John and David Furnish embarked on
a honeymoon in the land of Casanova-- Venice, Italy.
Before heading to
the pop star's home on Giudecca Island, the newlyweds strolled
along St. Mark's Square and enjoyed a romantic repast at Harry's
Bar, once the haunt of legendary author Ernest Hemingway, who
immortalized the eatery in his novel Across The River and
Into The Trees.
