Brazilian
Actress Weds in Rio
December 2005 --
Although pronounced husband and wife in a civil ceremony on
November 22, 2005, Brazilian actress Danielle Winits and model
Cassio Reis longed for a religious ceremony to bind them together
for eternity, and on the night of December 22, 2005 the bride
walked down the aisle of the Capela Santa Ines in Rio de Janeiro
to proclaim her devotion in front of 50 assembled witnesses.
Clutching a cascading
bouquet of white orquids, the bride recited her vows in a white,
body-conscious gown designed with a halter top and slit skirt
lavishly embellished with silver accents which sparkled in the
light of the chapel. A long, diaphanous veil completed the look.
The groom looked dapper in a dark, pin-striped suit created
by Dolce & Gabbana.
Wanting to be close
to their loved ones during the holidays, the newlyweds remained
in Brazil for Christmas before greeting 2006 as Mr. and Mrs.
in New York.
