Nick
Rimando Weds in Malibu
December 2005 --
The ultimate goal of soccer star Nick Rimando was realized in
mid-December as he wed his long term love, Jacqui Little. The
bride, (herself a soccer player, having once been on the lineup
of the now defunct team Washington Freedom), donned a white,
strapless gown and diaphanous veil which danced in the breeze
as she exchanged vows with the D.C. United goalkeeper in a sunset
ceremony held on a Malibu, California beach.
Making the moment
even more magical, the groom's teammate Ben Olsen presided over
the nuptials.
The newly-pronounced
Mr. and Mrs. Rimando embarked on a two-week excursion to Hawaii
following the service.
