Ri-hye and Pitcher Park Chan-ho Celebrate Wedding with Korean
Banquet
December 2005 --Only
30 guests attended the Hawaiian ceremony of Park Ri-hye, who
donned a lace-edged veil as she exchanged vows on November 29,
2005 with San Diego Padres pitcher Park Chan-ho. However, 500
friends and family members (including Cincinnati Reds player
Bong Jung-keun and Los Angeles Dodgers team member Choi Hee-seop)
wished the newlyweds happiness on December 12 at a banquet thrown
in the couple's honor at Lotte Hotel in Seoul, Korea.
The couple, who
wed after a one year courtship, will celebrate with the bride's
family during a reception feast in Japan on December 19th.
