Monroe graced the cover of the premiere issue of Playboy Magazine,
and the fascination for the screen legend continues today for
the magazine's founder Hugh Hefner, who unveiled the world's
largest collection on Monroe memorabilia, which is currently
on display aboard the Queen Mary 2 in Long Beach, California.
The exhibit, which runs through February 18, 2006, offers a
glimpse into the private woman hiding behind the public persona,
and includes items such as her teddy bear, cosmetics, perfume
bottles, and the accessories she wore when she said "I
do" to Joe DiMaggio in 1954.
