Ray's wedding to beau John Cusimano on September 24, 2005
was a fairy tale brought to life, complete with a Tuscan castle
setting and bridal attire by designer Alicia Mughotti, for their
honeymoon the couple satisfied their craving for adventure with
an excursion to Africa.
The newlyweds toured
the city of Cape Town and took a helicopter ride over the continent's
most popular tourist attraction, Victoria Falls, which was christened
after the former British monarch. Considered one of the seven
natural wonders of the world, the veil of water tumbles 420
feet into the Zambezi gorge, which divides the countries of
Zambia and Zimbabwe. Open-air jeep safari rides included a look
at the region's spectacular wildlife, including majestic giraffes.
