Film Star Uschi Glas Wed in Munich Palace
October 2005--The
friends and family who gathered together for a festive afternoon
on October 22, 2005 at the Munich mansion of German film star
Uschi Glas were in for a surprise when the hostess announced
that it was her wedding day.
As a symbol of their
love, the actress and her intended, Dieter Hermann, released
30 white doves into the air before traveling to Lustheim Palace,
a 17th century edifice which houses a rare collection of Meissner
porcelain, for the ceremony.
At the conclusion
of the service, a shower of red rose petals tossed by guests
tumbled down upon the bride, who had slipped out of a vivid
blue print dress and into a beige creation accented with embroidery
by designer Gabriele Blachnick, and the groom, who had donned
a traditional tuxedo for the event.
