Bolongo Bay Beach Resort Announces Menu of Packages
October 2005 -- Whether
the two of you are looking for a honeymoon hideaway or an island
base from which to explore, check out the new five packages offered
by Bolongo Bay Beach Resort. This St. Thomas resort is family-owned
and operated and a longtime favorite with Caribbean travelers
in the know, boasting a very high repeat guest rate.
Why
It's Dreamy: The 65 beach front rooms are wrapped around
the crescent-shaped, palm-lined Bolongo Bay. Each room has a private
balcony as well as many of the comforts of home including a mini-refrigerator,
coffeemaker, ceiling fan, air-conditioning, color cable television,
hair dryers, radio alarm clocks, iron and ironing board, safe
and telephone.
About
The Packages: Each package includes accommodations
in an ocean view room, use of kayaks, aqua tricycles, sunfish
sailboats, windsurfing equipment, paddle boats and snorkel equipment,
a discover scuba diving in-pool lesson; room tax and resort fee.

 Deluxe
Paradise Honeymoon provides all of the necessary
ingredients so couples can begin their marriage in tropical
style. The package features the following value-added elements:
welcome bottle of champagne with two keepsake champagne glasses;
all meals (seven days a week of a la carte dining for breakfast,
lunch and dinner at two of the most popular restaurants on St.
Thomas); unlimited beverages including all premium brands; an
all-day sail and beach outing to Honeymoon Beach on St. John
aboard the resort's 53-foot catamaran -- "Heavenly Days"
-- with lunch and open bar; a romantic sunset cocktail cruise
around Charlotte Amalie Harbor; his & hers half-hour massages
(one per person); $50 credit at Bolongo's gift shop; and gratuities.

Night buffet on Wednesday OR Beach Barbecue on Sunday (drinks
and gratuities not included); and an all-day sail and beach

VI Keys provides guests with the "keys"
to some of the destination's greatest attractions and includes:
entrance to Coral World Ocean Park, a unique land and sea
adventure; tickets to ride the St. Thomas Skyride to Paradise
Point; one-day Avis car rental (available on property) OR
a St. Thomas island excursion with Tropic Tours; a roundtrip
shuttle to Magen's Bay and admission fee; roundtrip shopping
shuttle to Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas‚ duty-free capital;
and an island tour of St. John with Tropic Tours that features
roundtrip transportation to the ferry dock, tickets to ride
the ferry, lunch with a soft drink, admission to Trunk Bay,
St. John's most popular beach, and snorkeling gear for exploring
Trunk Bay's underwater snorkeling trail.

Cruzan
Cultural allows Bolongo guests the opportunity to
expand their experience in "America's Caribbean" by
offering a daytrip to St. Croix. Features of the Cruzan Cultural
option include: roundtrip transfers from Bolongo to Seaborne
Airlines on St. Thomas; roundtrip tickets between St. Thomas
and St. Croix aboard Seaborne Airlines; an island tour of St.
Croix provided by Safari Tours, which includes stops in Christiansted
and admission to historic Estate Whim Plantation, the Cruzan
Rum Factory, and St. George Village Botanical Gardens; and lunch
in Frederiksted followed by a drive through the rainforest,
past Carambola golf course and Columbus landing.
Romantic travelers
who prefer to sightsee on their own can substitute the island
tour and lunch option with a one-day Avis car rental, which
can be picked up where the Seaplane docks. The staff will
provide maps and information about the Heritage Trail so guests
can venture out on their own. Prices for this option of the
Cruzan Cultural package are $170 for the first person and
$130 for each extra person (max. 4 people in a car).
- The Cruzan Cultural
add-on package costs $190 per person and is available to all
guests staying at Bolongo now through the end of 2006.
Water Adventure: This package
allows sports enthusiasts to challenge the surf as well as explore
the tropics from above and below sea level. Package highlights
are: two tickets for an Atlantis Submarine dive around Buck
Island providing spectacular views of the USVI's underwater
world; two-tank dive to the wreck of the Cartanser Sr. off of
Buck Island; parasailing in tandem with St. Thomas Watersports
from Bolongo's dock; half-hour Hobie Cat sailing tour; and half-hour
guided waverunner tour (two people per waverunner).
