Daniel
Jones Weds in Australia
October 2005--Since
its release in 1997, Savage Garden's romantic ballad "Truly
Madly Deeply" has been a staple on wedding reception playlists,
and in mid-October 2005 Daniel Jones, one half of the former
pop duo who recorded the hit tune, wed the woman he has been
truly, madly, and deeply in love with for the past five years--
Kathleen De Leon. De
Leon is a member of the children's singing troupe Hi-5, which
can be seen in the US on The Learning Channel and Discovery
Kids.
The couple, who
became engaged in 2003, were united in an intimate ceremony
held at Avica Resort on Queensland's Gold Coast. The resort
offers several sites to say "I do", including a cozy
sandstone chapel, where up to 100 attendees can witness the
ceremony from wooden pews, or couples can choose nature as their
cathedral and exchange vows in the estate's garden, in a gazebo,
or lakeside.
