Regis
Philbin's Daughter Weds in NYC
October
2005--Bridesmaids wearing somber-toned, strapless gowns from
Kleinfeld Bridal walked down the aisle of New York City's Church
of St. Ignatius Loyola on October 9, 2005 before bride Jennifer
Joy Philbin, the daughter of TV talk show host Regis Philbin.
Jennifer, who has made her own mark in the entertainment industry
as a writer for the hit FOX series "The O.C.," made
her grand entrance in a white, strapless Monique
Lhuillier creation.
A dainty tiara
captured the lights in the house of worship as the bride declared
her devotion to Michael Herbert Schur, a writer for the NBC
comedy "The Office." Witnesses included a star-studded
crowd incorporating Regis' talk show co-stars from the past
and present -- Kelly Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos along
with Kathie Lee Gifford and husband Frank Gifford. Daytime diva
Susan Lucci, Bryant Gumbel, Judge Judy, and "Saturday Night
Live" alumni Jimmy Fallon and Amy Poehler also attended
the nuptials and the reception.
The fairytale reception
was held in the ballroom of The Pierre Hotel, concocted by famed
event coordinator Preston
Bailey.
