Proposal Leads to Kiev Wedding for Musician Sean Carr
October
2005--A proposal at the Hard Rock Cafe in Sharm al-Sheik, Egypt
led to an October 2, 2005 wedding between Evhenya Tymoshenko,
the daughter of ex-Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko,
and Sean Carr, a member of the thrash metal group Death Valley
Screamers.
The bride, wearing
a white gown embellished with a lace bodice and accented with
wrist-length white
gloves, peered through a diaphanous, lace-edged veil as she
pledged her love to the musician/bar owner during a ceremony
held in Kiev's 11th century Vydubitskiy Monastery.
A sonorous combination
of church bells and bagpipes serenaded the newly wed couple
as they left the wedding venue for a reception where 150 guests
were entertained by a performance from the groom's band.
