Terri Clark Weds at Lake Louise, Canada Who: country
crooner Terri Clark and Greg Kaczor, the singer's tour manager When: September
17, 2005 Where: The
couple were united for eternity in a ceremony held at a resort
on Lake Louise in Calgary, Canada. The Ceremony: Terri
and Greg's love story has the makings of a country classic. Touring
the globe for years together, the singer performed tunes filled
with passion and heartache night after night, never realizing
that her own true love, her tour manager, was waiting for her
in the wings offstage. After a decade of working together the
couple's relationship blossomed into a romance which culminated
in a wedding held in the Canadian Rockies. During the ceremony
the groom slipped onto the finger of his friend and lover a wedding
band to accompany a white gold engagement ring fashioned with
a six-carat princess cut diamond embraced by baguettes, which
had been presented to her months before on bended knee in Nashville,
Tennessee. The Dress:
Her apparel coveted by such A-list stars as Halle Berry and Selma
Hayek, former actress Amy Michelson creates garments infused with
a touch of Hollywood glamour. For the country crooner, the designer
concocted a floor-length, bias cut gown of candlelight silk charmuse
with a daring cross cross back which exposed the bride's sun bronzed
skin. The entertainer's own unique personality was displayed with
a pair of off-white Justin cowboy boots, made of cashmere calf
and embellished with pearls. The singer completed the look with
a pair of dangle earrings. The Reception: The 50 guests that convened in the bridal suite of Post Hotel after the nuptials were encouraged to sample the chateau's selection of 1,800 wines by the bride, who flashed her friends with undergarments emblazoned with the words "Shut up and drink". Once the festivities concluded, the newlyweds spent the first four days of their new life together in the lodge, which is located within Banff National Park. |
