Christmas Events in Colorado

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Colorado, and romantics can enjoy a Rocky Mountain holiday thanks to the statewide celebrations of the season, including the following festive events:

All aboard for a journey back to childhood as you travel to the North Pole on the Polar Express, just like in the award-winning Christmas tale. Both the young and the young at heart will enjoy a telling of the story, hot chocolate and a treat served by a personal chef as the train chugs along. At the end of the line, Yuletide carols will greet passengers back in Durango. The Polar Express runs from November 19 – December 28, 2010.

    Experience the Yuletide spirit of yesteryear in the historic mountain town of Georgetown, where travelers can check off items on their holiday wish list while shopping at the 50th annual Christmas Market. Romantics will relish the horse-drawn wagon rides, carolers in Victorian costume, and the sight of St. Nicolas in tradiitonal dress on December 4, 5, 11 and 12, 2010.
