For those who find that the cares of day to day life begin to build as the temperature starts to dip, Dr. Wilkinson’s Hot Spring’s Resort in Calistoga, California offers a perennially popular Stress Stopper package which has helped tense travelers achieve tranquility for a quarter of a century.
Patrons can choose one of three options:
- The Mud Bath– Includes the treatment for which it is named followed by an aromatic mineral whirlpool bath, steam room and blanket wrap at $99 per person, plus tax.
- The Works– Consists of a mud bath, aromatic mineral whirlpool bath, steam room, blanket wrap and half-hour massage at $139 per person.
- The Works– this option, valued at $198 per person, might have the same name as the previous offering, but it provides an elevated experience with a an hour long massage providing the finishing touch to a mud bath, aromatic mineral whirlpool bath, steam room and blanket wrap.
The Stress Stopper Package includes an overnight stay, Sunday through Thursday, in a double queen or king room. Guests booking the package can also melt their worries away in one of three thermal pools– an 80 degree pool, a 90 degree pool and a 102 degree indoor pool.
