Wines of Chile Experience Launches Chile Vacation Contest

One lucky wine aficionado and a friend will soon get the opportunity to say “Cheers!” in Chile as a truly ‘spirit’ed competition gets underway.

In celebration of the 200th birthday of the South American country, the Wines of Chile Experience– supported by Chile Brands, Enotour and Puro Chile– has launched Tweet, Tweet, Chile. From September 22, 2010 through October 15, 2010, applicants are asked to create a seven-day dream itinerary of Chile which explains why they long to explore the romantic wine regions, see the snow-draped mountains, awe at the wonder of the Antarctic glacier and stroll the sands of its pristine beaches. Also, entrants must tell how they would use Twitter on their trip to share the splendor of the country with others.

On October 26, 2010, the top five itineraries will be posted on for public voting. The applicant whose itinerary receives the most votes will work with the Wines of Chile Experience to book their planned itinerary and turn their dream vacation into a reality.
