Saint Lucia Offers Romance Packages, Sweepstakes Inspired by “The Bachelor”

Just as the budding relationship between Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi blossomed into true love during their sojourn to Saint Lucia, so reality TV-viewing romantics began their own love affair with the idyllic island as they watched the final episodes of The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love unfold. For couples who find themselves dreaming of the destination, Saint Lucia is now offering special Red Rose Romance packages.

More than 20 of Saint Lucia’s resorts are participating in the promotion, which offers a wide selection of accommodation packages from five-star resorts, all-inclusives, inns and value-oriented properties. Packages include such offerings as:

a helicopter ride
candlelight champagne dinner
couples massage
private beach picnic or sunset cruise

Special airline rates are available on American Airlines from major US Saint Lucia gateways. Red Rose Romance packages must be booked by March 31, 2010 for travel to be taken before December 31, 2010.

“As Seen on The Bachelor” Sweepstakes

The fantasy TV getaway will become a reality for one lucky winner and their guest thanks to the “As Seen on The Bachelor” Sweepstakes. The winner will walk in the footsteps of the reality personality, enjoying the splendor of Saint Lucia on an eight night/nine day trip to the four luxury resorts seen on the ABC series: two nights at Le Sport Le Body Holiday, Cap Maison (where a rose ceremony was held), Jalousie Plantation (which includes a tour of Soufriere) and Jade Mountain (where Jake Pavelka proposed to Vienna. The winner also receives a tour of Pigeon Island National Park and a sunset cruise aboard the Brig Unicorn.
