Denver's The Brown Palace Hotel Offering Valentine's Package

If you've been to Denver, you've probably heard of The Brown Palace Hotel, a member of the National Trust Historic Hotels of America. This romantic retreat is offering a special Valentine's package for lovers:

The Package: Beginning at $219, the Light Up the Night romance package includes an overnight stay in one of the hotel's world-famous guest rooms; breakfast for two delivered by room service or at Ellyngton's; two evening cocktails in the breathtaking atrium; and signature rose-petal turndown. The package is available through Dec. 30, 2007. Price based on double occupancy per night. Subject to availability.


Add-Ons: A perfect package add-on would be one of the sumptuous spa treatments in the new Spa at The Brown Palace, a 5,200-square-foot facility focuses on relaxation and romance. The Champagne Kiss, which takes place in the deluxe couples' suite, comes complete with rose petals and a tandem candle-lit massage followed by a delicious chocolate body polish and champagne soak. Freeze Hits Austin...and Lovetripper Offices

It has been quiet here at Lovetripper the last few days thanks to a record ice storm that hit the Austin area. We had about half an inch of ice that put the whole area at a standstill this week...including our internet connection! For the past three days, we've been cutoff from the outside cyberworld but we're happy to report that we're now thawed out and back in business and will be adding new material in the coming days. Sandals Royal Bahamian Offering Passport Rebate

Still haven't gotten those passports? Starting January 23, American air travelers will need them for trips to the Caribbean, Mexico, Canada, and many other places they formerly just traveled to using a birth certificate.

Sandals Resorts is participating in the Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board’s “Free Passport Promotion” for guests staying at Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island.

The Offer: To qualify for a free passport, you'll need to book a two-night minimum stay between January 17 and March 31, 2007 at Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island. The promotion is valid for new passports issued from now through March 24, 2007. The passport reimbursement includes passport application and execution fees of $97 for adults. Expediting fees are non-refundable and the offer is only valid for a maximum of 4 rebates per room.

How to Get Reimbursed:
